The 3rd Annual Chris Doyle Memorial Softball Benefit
Come support the Chris Doyle Memorial Softball Benefit, Saturday July 31,2010 from 8:00am-9:00pm at the Fort Wayne Turners 3636 Parnell Avenue, Fort Wayne, IN 46805. Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day
Visit participating Dairy Queen locations on August 5 to benefit Children's Miracle Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for 170 children's hospitals. Battle of the Bands
NAND (No Alcohol No Drugs) is hosting a Battle of the Bands from 8:00pm-11:00pm as a kick off for the 2010-2011 NAND. Bands will be from local high schools and the event will be held at Freimann Square downtown. Allen county students will only have to pay $5 to enjoy a night of music. There will also be entertainment by The Great Andini and the first 150 students get a free t-shirt. Everyone that shows up will recieve a free glow in the dark necklace, a pass for 2 free games to Crazy Pins, a hot dog/chip/pop from Whitsle Shop Vendor, and an Arctic Shaved Ice. In addition free door prizes will be handed out all night long from Rave Motion Pictures, Pizza Hut, Starbucks, Georgetown Bowl, Mikes Express Carwash, and many others. The 2nd Annual Mom's Night Out
Come enjoy the 2nd Annual Mom's Night Out presented by Parenting in Fort Wayne magazine. Mom's Night Out will take place Thursday, August 26th from 5:30 to 9:00 pm at Ceruti's Summit Park, 6601 Innocation Blvd in Fort Wayne. The even is designed to delight, pamper, and support the Moms of Fort Wayne. More than 70 vendor booths, stage demonstrations, fashion show and live entertainment will be present. Mustard Seed Furniture Bank
The Mustard Seed Furniture Bank is hosting their Seventh Annual Charity Auction being held on October 9th at the Exposition Center in the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum starting at 5:30 p.m.  The theme of the event is Welcome Home!  The Mustard Seed steps in to provide items such as kitchen tables, chairs, couches, and beds to those who do not have the means to purchase them.  Tickets are $65 a person.  Sponsorships and tables of 8 are also available for $600 (includes special recognition).  For more info, contact Suzie Jordan at (260) 471-5802.

Light the Night Walk

7:30 p.m. -- Van Wert County Disabled American Veterans Chapter 54 meets at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803, located at 111 N. Shannon St., across from the YMCA, on the corner of Jackson and Shannon streets.
