The latest poll conducted by www.MyCelebrityFashion.co.uk has found that more than two thirds of men, 67%, would prefer their partner to have smaller, natural breasts rather than larger fake ones from a cosmetic procedure.
Whilst a common perception of men is their apparent preference for big-breasted women, the survey conducted by the celebrity fashion website of 1,621 male Britons in relationships, each aged 18 and over, revealed quite the opposite; with many claiming to prefer a smaller ‘natural’ bust on women. The poll highlighted how men felt about their partner’s body, with each respondent answering questions on the subject.
Respondents to the study were initially asked ‘Would you prefer your partner to have smaller breasts that were natural or larger breasts that were fake?’ and two thirds selected ‘small and natural.’ Following this, the men were asked “Would you like your partner to have breast enlargement surgery?” to which 32% answered ‘no.’ Despite these men being apparently satisfied with their partner’s breast size, 54% of those against the idea of surgery admitted they would like their partner to have naturally bigger breasts.
When asked why they would tolerate larger natural breasts, but not fake boobs, 48% said that “surgery was too expensive,” whereas 32% admitted to being “scared” of their partner being harmed during the procedure. 11% thought that “implants would feel unpleasant” and 9% claimed to dislike the general appearance of fake breasts.
Nonetheless, 42% of men polled were unable to spot the difference between real and fake breasts, when showed contrasting pictures of women with both.
Of the respondents who said that they would prefer their partner to have larger breasts from a cosmetic procedure, 42% said that bigger boobs were “sexier,” whilst 34% admitted they liked the fact their friends might be jealous if their partner had implants.
Just over two fifths, 44%, considered breasts as “big” from a size 36C. Furthermore, the men polled named Katie Price, Victoria Beckham and Pamela Anderson as celebrities that represent a bad image for breast implants. In contrast, Beyonce, Cheryl Cole and Kate Hudson were amongst those voted as the sexiest celebrity examples of “natural, smaller breasts.”
Sarah Heath, Online Writer at MyCelebrityFashion.co.uk, commented on the findings:
“We conducted this survey to highlight how men feel about their girlfriend’s body. Cosmetic surgery and breast implants are a popular choice for many women, but many are now looking back towards the more natural approach and it seems some men evidently prefer this.”
She continued:
“I find it quite funny that most of men claim to prefer smaller natural breast, but can’t spot the difference in pictures! At the end of the day, it’s all a matter of personal opinion and everyone has their own preferences!”
