I know, it's been a minute since I last blogged but ya know...sometimes I just forget! lol Anyway, this week should be a good one. I'm on the air for Drew Mon-Wed and Fri so that'll be fun. Drew's night shift is completely different than filling in for anyone else here at the Bear. He's got a hardcore group of listeners that aren't the biggest fans of me mentioning sports too often...but I think they'll live, lol.
Also got an awesome night of local music going down Thursday night at Columbia Street West with Blood From A Stone, Kill the Rabbit, That Crafty Devil, and Aadia taking the stage. It's the 3rd quarterfinal of the Battle of the Bands and it's definitely getting serious. We're having a blast every Thursday night out there and it'd be great to see you out there.
I've also got another garage sale this weekend, this time it's on Hoosier St. in Berne just down from the BP, Fri & Sat 9am-whenever we close. I won't be there too much of the time due to watching my kids and Mayhem Fest on Saturday but come buy my stuff anyway! LOL I've got lots of cool guy stuff. Plus it's Swiss Days, which means it's the only 2 days that Berne is an ok place to be...and that's only because of the AWESOME food vendors they have there.
And finally, as I just quickly mentioned, I'll be down at Deer Creek (Verizon Wireless) Saturday for the Rockstar Mayhem Fest show!! It's my first all-day concert in over 2 years and I'm really looking forward to it. I'm sure I'll be ready to pass out by 8pm but that's ok because I know once Korn takes the stage I'll be nice and awake again! It's my 17th time seeing them and I'm looking forward to seeing what they bring. Usually at shows like this their set isn't as good as it would be in an arena or club. Hopefully it'll be good enough. I'm hearing really good things about Rob Zombie's show, so that's promising. I'm also very excited to see a band that I've played on Local Licks a few times, XFactor1, play down there. They open everything up at 2pm which is when I'll be there! If you see me down there, make sure you say hey!
